Brazil Charter 2010

Sail ILHA GRANDE BAY, BRAZIL!

Join us for the Brazil Charter 2010 - 7 days of sailing in the beautiful Ilha Grande Bay.

We will fly to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. After a 2-3 hour transfer to Angres dos Reis, we will board the chartered boat.

The evening will be spent familiarizing ourselves with the boat and provisioning, before setting sail on our Brazilian adventure.

We will plan the itinerary around your interests. Ilha Grande Bay, otherwise known as Costa Verde (the green coast) has so much to offer. The 300 plus islands are easily accessible by sailboat and are ideal for exploring. Activities in the bay include, diving, camping, surfing, fishing, ecology tours, sea kayaking. Many of the islands have hotels and restaurants, so we can sample Brazilian cuisine.

Those, who desire the instructional package, can receive one or more of the ASA certifications and/or additional instruction, or just relax on deck enjoying all Costa Verde has to offer and the camaraderie of the rest of the crew. The boat will be captained by our own ASA instructor, who has sailed the Costa Verde coast.
